For this project, I created a sampler in Logic Pro that went along with my son’s favorite book. I first put markers in the book where I would like sounds to happen (many sounds that he was already making) and then I created a sampler patch in Logic Sampler with the required sounds. To make a kid friendly sampler interface, I created a custom TouchOSC patch where each number and shape matched up with the markers in the book. Each button also controls the state of the music that plays during that time so that the book may be started at any point and read in any order and all of the sounds would match up. Below is a sample of my project.
